The Texas Chief Deputies Board of Directors met in a special called meeting on Thursday, July 2. Due to the increasing incidence of COVID-19, the BOD has, with great reluctance, but with your safety in mind, decided to cancel the 2020 Texas Chief Deputies Conference, previously rescheduled to August 25-28, 2020.
If you have not paid your membership dues for 2020-2021, please do so. This will keep you on the list serve and up to date on trainings throughout the year and 2021 conference information.
If you have hotel reservations at the Inn of the Hills or the YO, please contact the hotel directly to cancel. They have requested that you wait until after July 6 to contact them because of the holiday weekend, and they will not have the staff to handle an influx of calls.

The following offices are up for election and open for nominations
In accordance with the bylaws, any member may nominate another member. Members may also submit nomination forms for themselves. All nomination forms should be emailed to Rachel Vega, executive director at firstname.lastname@example.org by July 17.
A ballot with all nominees will be posted on the TCDA website the week of July 20-24.
Voting will be open July 27-31. Voting will be by electronic voting. All members eligible to vote will be notified.
